MDSA Camp Capacity is a week long annual camp for young people with a neuromuscular condition and their siblings. Camp Capacity provides campers with an opportunity to have an adventure away from home, try new things and make great friends. This year Camp Capacity was held from the 16th to the 20th of April and we couldn’t have asked for better weather! The theme was ‘Wacky Wildlife Adventures’. Campers and carers enjoyed a week of fun activities including a visit to Cleland Wildlife Park, having a go at the Big Swing, High Ropes and flying Fox, a very interactive visit from Animals Anonymous and of course a much anticipated visit by the HOGS (Harley Owners Group). Each year the HOGS kindly donate their time to give motorcycles rides to campers and carers who attend Camp Capacity. Swimming, Cold Rock and wheelchair sports also created a fun and inclusive atmosphere at camp. Client Services would like to thank all the campers and carers who attended this year and a big thank you to businesses and groups such as the Bow Tie Bears Volunteer Committee who contributed towards activities such as craft and the visit to Cleland Wildlife Park that were enjoyed by all!
