Family Christmas Party
Towards the end of each year, the Client Services team at Muscular Dystrophy SA holds a Family Christmas Party for clients, family members, friends and volunteers of our organisation.
2016 Family Christmas Party
This years Family Christmas Party was held on Saturday the 3rd December 2016 and once again the fantastic Thebarton Community Centre was the venue. Unlike last year the weather was perfect for the 140 clients, family members, carers, volunteers and supporters to come and enjoy a delicious lunch amongst friends. Live music by the incredible sounds of Dave Freeman and Reason was much enjoyed and a huge thanks to them as they donated their time and talent. Face painting was once again supplied by the super creative Sarah Cotis and fun Christmas themed games were enjoyed by young and old. Muscular Dystrophy was once again very excited that Santa could squeeze a visit to us to give each child a gift which certainly created huge happy faces. Everyone who attended has given our Client Services Team amazing positive feedback and they are already looking forward to next’s years event. A BIG thanks must go out the businesses who supported the event and to our very valuable volunteers who once again gave up their Saturday’s to be at the party, we could not do it without you. Spring Fresh and Prices Fresh dontated produce which makes a huge difference to our expenses. Again a special thanks to the Bow Tie Bears Volunteer Events Committee who raised funds to financially contribute to this wonderful event.
